From Dreaming in Cameroon to Building in Canada

## The Dream

I grew up in Cameroon watching people get rich from crypto. I saw Nigerians like B-Lord (Bitcoin Lord) become millionaires. My classmates who left in 2012 invested in Bitcoin and became multi-millionaires.

I watched Trump's token make people rich. I cried that if I was in the USA or Canada, I could invest in Tesla, Bitcoin, crypto—all the opportunities I couldn't access.

But I was struggling to afford food and rent in Cameroon.

So I taught myself SEO and digital marketing. I worked on small projects. I waited for my chance.

## The Journey

February 2025: I finally made it to Canada.

October 2025: I got a construction job. I wake up at 3am, work until 6pm. It's physically exhausting, but I save $1,000 CAD every month.

October 4, 2025: I made my first crypto investment - $1,300 in CELO, $1,500 in Solana.

I made mistakes. I bought at the top. I had no Bitcoin or Ethereum. I was 100% in altcoins. I lost money.

But I learned. And I decided to document everything.

## The Mission

I'm building a $50,000 crypto portfolio by January 2027.

Starting point: $6,300 (December 2025)
Goal: $50,000 by January 2027
Strategy: 40% BTC/ETH, 40% blue-chip alts, 20% speculative
Method: Save $400-500/month, DCA consistently, take profits strategically
